Undemocratic Act

Two States created without discussion – most undemocratic. Not only no discussion was allowed to take place, the Congress led Government blacked out the live transmission of the proceedings and thus kept the public at large in the dark. This is totally unacceptable in a democracy. BJP’s explanation is also unsatisfactory. In order to prove their credentials, they should make sure that the bill does not go through in the Rajya Sabha without proper debate and taking care interests of all stake holders. The shortsightedness on the part of Congress – eye on 17 Lok Sabha seats from Telengana region – will only boomerang.
